Background
Ir John Mok is Co-founder and Chairman of Automatic Manufacturing Limited (AML) since 1976, has over 35 years solid experience in engineering & manufacturing sector. AML is an international renowned design and manufacturing services provider of electronics products, ranging from medical and healthcare devices, automotive electronics, office & telecom equipments, industrial controls and home automation products.
He actively takes part in various organizations that are crucial to Hong Kong industrial development. He has been appointed as member of judge of HK Governor's Design Award and Plastic Advisory Committee of HK Govt's Industry Dept.
He is currently:
~ Founding & current Chairman of Hong Kong Medical and Healthcare Device Manufacturers Association
~ Chairman of Advisory Committee on EIE Department of Hong Kong Polytechnic University
~ Industry Advisor on Biomedical Engineering of Chinese University of Hong Kong
~ Member of Electronic Advisory Committee of HK Trade Development Council
~ Industry advisor of Chinese University of Hong Kong
~ Manufacturing advisor of City University of Hong Kong
His contribution is well recognized by the community. He has led AML to win the 2004 Hong Kong Award for Industry: Quality Grand Award and 2005 Hong Kong Awards for Industries: Productivity & Quality Award. He also won the Hong Kong Institute of Directors (HKIoD) Directors of the Year Award 2005.
