Medical Device Regulatory and Marketing Course (10 September 2010 – 26 November 2010)

Hong Kong Medical and Healthcare Device Industries Association (HKMHDIA) and the Integrated Vocational Development Centre (IVDC) of Vocational Training Council (VTC) are jointly organising the third certificate program“Medical Device Regulatory and Marketing Course”. This program aims at enhancing the overall knowledge and quality for professional sales & marketing personnel in related to the medical devices industry. Class contents focus on Medical device and diseases, Marketing practice guideline, Business ethics, Regulatory requirement in ISO13485 and ISO14971, Product registration related issue at HKMDCO. All of the class lecturers are qualified professionals from academic as well as the industrial sectors.

Target Participant : Medical Device Sales and Marketing Personnel, and related trade people
Course Duration : 30 Hours
Course Schedule : 10 September 2010 – 26 November 2010 (10 Friday sessions, except 1 Oct & 19 Nov 2010)
Entry Requirements : Possessing a relevant Diploma or equivalent, or Processing at least 3 years relevant working experience
Class Venue : Integrated Vocational Development Centre (IVDC), 23 Broadway, Stage One, Mei Foo Sun Chuen, Kowloon
Medium Instruction : English supplemented with Cantonese terminology (Course materials and assessment are in English)
Tuition : HK$3,500 per person
Certificate will be awarded to those who have successfully completed the course (passed the examination and achieved no less than 70% attendance rate)

Hong Kong International Medical Devices and Supplies Fair 2010 (3 - 5 November 2010 - Early Bird Deadline: Extended to 30 June 2010 )

Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Hong Kong Medical and Healthcare Device Industries Association (HKMHDIA) are co-organising an international trade fair, " Hong Kong International Medical Devices and Supplies Fair 2010", that is going to be held between the 3rd and 5th of November 2010 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Overseas Study Mission to Japan On Medical Device Design & Manufacturing (11th to 16th July 2010)

Hong Kong Medical and Healthcare Device Industries Association (HKMHDIA)and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) are co-organising a study mission to Japan to be held during July 11 to 16 ,2010. I am writing on behalf of the Hong Kong Medical and Healthcare Device Industries Association (HKMHDIA) to invite you and your members of your company to participate in the captioned study mission.

Through visiting the medical and healthcare product manufacturing plants & related institute and the medical product exposition --- The International Modern Hospital Show 2010 in Tokyo, the study mission should fulfill the objectives of

1. Academic exchange between Hong Kong and Japan Association / Enterprise related to Medical & Healthcare industries.
2. Investigating for business Collaboration & partnership between Japan & Hong Kong Enterprise.
3. Understanding the culture, facility, service and support of Japan manufacturing environment especially on Medical & Healthcare related. Investigate for project investment such as incubator items, project for License manufacturing.
