Mr. Kow Ping
Kow is the co-founder of Well Being Digital Limited (WBD101), a company that develops “Single Point Multimodal Sensing Technology” for Hearables and Wearables that has been used in consumer earbuds brands such as Anker, JBL, Pioneer, Cleer, Philips, Hera Leto, Motorola, Parrot, TCL, Axloie and 233621.
Kow moved from being top management of many listed companies to becoming the co-founder of WBD101 because of his passion towards Medtech and along the way received a Distinction in Masters of Science of International Business from the University of London.
Within WBD101, Kow managed to secure trial agreements with renowned universities/hospitals such as Chinese University of Hong Kong, National University of Singapore, Shenzhen University, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Singapore General Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital (HK).
Currently he is exploring other non-invasive sensing applications using his knowledge of Computer Engineering acquired from Singapore Nanyang Technological University to traverse into other medical applications such as sleep disorder detection, senior care, stroke monitoring, anxiety-depression detection and arrhythmia.
The WBD101 team believes Hong Kong to be the best Medtech hub location in the world due to its proximity to the Greater Bay Area (GBA), for reasons including Hong Kong is well trusted for healthcare, for doing business and also for Intellectual Property support, in addition to the fact that the GBA provides a great place for innovative prototyping, mass production and a great market place for commercialization.
