Mr. Fred Tung
Mr. Fred Tung is an accomplished business leader in the healthcare technology industry. With a wealth of experience, he served as a Board of Director at Johnson and Johnson (HK) Limited, where he demonstrated leadership skills in driving strategies for compliant and sustainable business growth. He was a valued member of the North Asia Leadership team.
During his tenure at Johnson and Johnson (HK) Limited, Fred held the prestigious position of Head of Government Affairs and Policy for the MedTech, Innovative Medicine and Consumer sectors. His contributions were instrumental in shaping healthcare policies and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders. Additionally, he was a member of the Asia Pacific Leadership team.
Fred's passion lies in creating a thriving healthcare ecosystem, promoting the development of the Hong Kong Medtech industry, and advocating for healthcare policy improvements. He actively contributes to these goals as the Deputy Chairman of the Hong Kong Medical and Healthcare Device Industries Association. Furthermore, he co-founded the Hong Kong Private Hospital Operating Theater Organization to advance healthcare standards.
Fred also shares his knowledge and expertise to serves as an industry advisor for Biomedical Engineering courses of City University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
